Anna is a ceramics artist and maker based in South East London.

She is a co-founder with her sister Tatiana Baskakova of Ceramics Studio Co-op , an artist-run worker cooperative in Deptford, London. She runs an education program at the coop and works as a co-director.

Anna studied 3D Design in Ravensbourne and MA Designer Maker in Camberwell College of Arts in ceramics.

Her practice employs several techniques: porcelain slip-casting, coiling and throwing. She is a keen a glaze developer. Anna’s practice is concerned with the ideas of urbanism and nature, social interactions, physicality and fragility of a human body and destructive memes.
